Over the last
2 years we have been working with Neil Brennan, CEO Central Highlands
Water Authority (CHW), and his executive team to create a Strategic
Management and Monitoring capability.
The critical
issues faced by Neil and his team included:
Difficulty
in implementing and communicating strategy effectively
Managing
and monitoring strategic performance proactively
Costly
inconsistent data flows
Handling
and integrity from data capture to point of incorporating into
corporate knowledge instruments, reports and decision support
applications
Unaligned
use of information across the business, creating knowledge conflict
The trigger
for CHW to engage POL to provide a 'Water Industry' specific solution
was the need to track key performance metrics to satisfy the new
regulations being introduced by the Victorian state government and
in so doing be sure of compliance without 'gold plating' processes.
This project has now been completed and CHW has a solution that
meets all the regulator's requirements. The implementation of PulseSuite®
for finance has given "phenomenal results" which extends its value
into other areas of his business, according to Neil.
